Geez. One thing I really dislike about Filipino mentality is that pathological politeness that is supposed to prevent offense but actually causes strife. You know - give in, don't make a scene, stand down, walk away, keep quiet. Combining that with pop-Christianity makes it even worse. Gives rise to all sorts of passive-agressive behavior.
