It's not uncommon for me to be described by someone else as intense (or other synonymous terms). It's often meant in a not-so-endearing manner, sometimes intended as a criticism, but I quite like being thought of as intense. Depending on the situation and the behavioral expectations of observers, I suppose it could mean offensive, ostentatious or downright appalling. It could also mean passionate, strong or extraordinary. It definitely means I'm not ordinary, and that's what I like about it.
