About a week ago, I received an e-mail saying that all blogs with adult content will be deleted by the 30th of June, my blog included.
Seriously. "Adult content".
I'm aware of course that the message was spam-bot sent, and that my blog was similarly picked out by spam-bot, because I had ticked "mature content" in the settings page. By mature content I simply meant that a lot of the stuff I discuss aren't exactly suitable for kiddos, i.e., suicidal thoughts, outrageous urges to harm others, prescription drugs, etc. But this isn't at all an "adult site" in the common sense of the term, since I DO NOT FREAKING DISTRIBUTE PORN.
Anyway, it is now the second of July, and I'm quite thankful my blog is still here. Though I've run out of fresh ideas for what to write, I've gotten quite attached to this little blogging project of mine, and it would be such a waste if all my good content were to be no more. I'm still considering the possibility that deletion was simply delayed or rescheduled, so I'm not quite celebrating yet. Nonetheless, if this blog had been deleted, I'd be forced into a fresh start - and a fresh start (or, restart) would be welcome too, since that would mean I can just rewrite everything.
Ah, well. I love this blog. Blogging deities, please do not snuff it out. It's a well-behaved blog, I promise.
